Word Study

We made flip books and lists in our Word Study notebooks.

On Monday we write about our weekends.

We start with sharing in our circle. We aim at telling WHAT we did, WHO was there, and WHERE it was. Next we sketch a drawing. Then, we write.

Morning Meeting Sharing

We met our 4th grade buddies.

New Friends

We are still getting to know the names of our new friends. We used friends' names to finish the poem/song, "Here We Are Together", then put those into our poetry notebooks, illustrated and labeled our illustrations, and reviewed the rules of how to write names correctly.
